PVT POWER RANKINGS – FEBRUARY 6

Each week, our staff will rank all seven franchises based upon the following factors:

  1. Resume to this point
  2. Eye Test/Perceived Ability
  3. Championship Winning Ability

This Week’s:

  1. ATLANTA VIBE
The Vibe are the most complete team in the league presently. A defense led by Morgan Hentz backing up three stellar pins in Edmonds, Linnehan, and Cleveland. This may not be beginner’s luck for Atlanta.
  2. OMAHA SUPERNOVAS
The preseason top team has only lost a very tight match at home against Atlanta. Betty de la Cruz is a force and they lead the league in offensive efficiency to this point. Still very much an elite team with title chances.
  3. GRAND RAPIDS RISE
The only other team in the league with a win presently and an impressive performance in their win over Columbus. An Ashley Evans-led offense may put them in every match – the only question moving forward will be their ability to slow down the offenses of Atlanta and Omaha.
  4. ORLANDO VALKYRIE
A valiant effort in a great home environment vs Atlanta serves as the core reason they find themselves atop the winless contingency.
  5. VEGAS THRILL
Based solely on roster and expectations, the Thrill should have the backcourt and middle presence to throw a slightly different style of offense at the PVF. With several elite setters on roster, the offense should be the show in Vegas.
  6. COLUMBUS FURY
Winless but a match under there belts, the Fury have some pieces to build on. One of the younger cores in the PVF, it may just take some time for this group to mature.
  7. SAN DIEGO MOJO
Not the start the Mojo had hoped for, but it is very early. Dysfunction and a lack of identity seem to be the early challenges facing San Diego.
